Price was fantastic, I got the kit on sale. I knew the exhaust was stainless, but we weren't sure what quality stainless it was. So, we did the magnet test. Low quality stainless is still magnetic. Higher quality is non-magnetic. We (my mechanic brother and I) took a magnet and tapped it from the front to back of the exhaust - every single part. None of it was magnetic, which told us it was higher quality stainless.
Then during installation, everything fit nice and easy, all hangers were in the right placement. Tips sat nice and center with barely any effort at all (other than typical rotation on the pipe to make sure the 2 tips were level).
So why only 4 stars? Well, the tips had a slight dent, easily could have been from the shipping company. But when rounding them back out, the tip material was so soft we didn't have to use a hammer, just a socket and rolled it.
And the real reason why it was 4 stars and not 5, was the volume. This is an aftermarket exhaust, so I was hoping the volume would be louder. However, the resonator was BIG. If you don't know what that means, I'll put it this way; bigger resonator means quieter, smaller resonator means louder. This exhaust is the volume of STOCK. Pros of that are that you can easily run a catless or high-flow downpipe and still be neighborhood friendly volumes. Con of that is that if you are in a strict emissions state (like me in NY, or if you're in CA) and you don't have much of a chance of being able to run a different downpipe without failing emissions inspection, then you're stuck with stock volume levels. Not a huge con, but I was hoping for at least a little volume out of this kit. Just something you'd need to know and plan for when purchasing.
Overall, I would still totally reccomend this kit. Better quality than my previous aftermarket exhaust for the veloster. Better fitment too. Just quite a bit quieter. Which means just plan for other ways to make it louder.
